Custom Built Rods

At Johnson Ross Tackle we pride ourselves on our custom rod building service, something we have built up over many years. All of our rods are built for us by either John Hennessy or Vic Gibson. Vic is regarded as probably the U.K's leading rod builder and with over 30 years experience the finish he gets is second to none. We use Harrison, Free Spirit & Century blanks (in our opinion the best there are!) and finish them with only the finest fittings. Our rods can be finished to your own specification for example ring sizes and patterns, reel seat otions, duplon styles, cork handles, carbon line clips etc etc. Numbered sections & your name/nickname written on the rod are all included in the standard build price.
