Korda Tackle was started by owner Danny Fairbrass back in 1992 and initially only manufactured leads. Korda Tackle now produces everything from terminal tackle items like hooks, lead clips etc, all the way up to larger products like their range of Compac luggage.

The Korda Tackle brand is focussed on the carp fishing market, but there is also a sister brand called Tackle Guru that is focussed on the match fishing amrket. Tackle Guru has now found favour with pleasure and specimen anglers as well!

The whole ethos behind Korda Tackle and Tackle Guru has always been about helping anglers to catch more fish. Each and every product is designed and extensively tested in-house, where they have complete control over each stage of the process, from the initial concept right through to the product appearing on the shelves of tackle shops.
