It is available in 13' which is the ideal length for a big spod rod as it allows the rod to be capable of big distance without needing to be rigid. This means that this is a rod that can load up the biggest spods and yet be forgiving of timing. In testing this rod has put spods in excess of 220yds using an overhead cast.
The construction includes a woven fabric matt finish with 1k weave all the way to the tip overlaying a blend of premium unidirectional carbon and lightweight carbon scrims for increased hoop strength. The finished rod is built with an American Tackle Carbon 20mm reel sea, abbreviated handle and 50mm Vortex Air ring set.
