At the start of writing this foreword to the long awaited English edit of our magazine, we have just learned about the last French stronghold Media Carpe calling it quits... Yet another of the big European names sadly down the drain, foreboding the further demise of print media, and dare we say, the written word. The 10ft model has a profiled neck to accomodate all 10ft rods, and the 12ft and 13ft models will accomodate big- pit reels and 50mm butt rings.
