The Specimen range of rods are extremely versatile, equally at home on rivers and stillwaters. The four rods in this family are available in 11ft & 12ft at both 1¼lb & 1½lb test curves to cover all species from silverfish through to bigger Chub, Tench and Bream, using a wide verity of tactics including bolt rigs, method feeders, helicopter rigs and running rigs.

The 11ft & 12ft 1¼lbs models are ideal for a wide range of smaller species such as Roach, Rudd, Perch etc. With critically spaced, large diameter guides, casting accuracy is excellent and the progressive power action avoids hook pulls and is a real benefit when playing and landing quality fish.
The 1½lb version, again available in 11ft & 12ft are perfect for Chub, Barbel, Tench, Bream and mid-sized Carp. The 1½lb versions have slightly larger diameter guides which improve both distance casting and accuracy. The progressive power play action cushions the strike and avoids hook pulls and helps significantly when playing big specimens.
