At times it’s inevitable that a hook will bury deeply, or be in an awkward position making it difficult to lever out cleanly using gentle finger pressure. Using forceps makes hook removal far easier and less stressful for both you and the fish!
These 5” short nosed forceps will allow you to get a really firm hold of the hook, even if there is only a relatively small section of metal to grip onto.
