RidgeMonkey EscAPE V2 XF2 Standard 2 Man Bivvy - Camo
New and improved with an abundance of smart new features, these latest versions of the ever-popular XF2 Bivvy range offer maximum comfort, space and luxury whilst living on the bank. Available in both ‘Standard’ and ‘Compact’ 2-man sizes, these rapid-erect shelters feature a windproof, waterproof and breathable 300D ripstop HydroX skin in either a Green or Camo finish. The ultra-sturdy X-frame and sewn-in groundsheet provides excellent protection from all weather conditions whilst remaining simple and fast to setup and pack down in seconds. The various included extras (split into a separate carry bag) and modular design allows you to customise the shelter to your liking, making it ideal for variable weather conditions, a variety of angling styles and more manageable transportation.
The front door of the bivvies can be configured in two ways and includes the option of either a traditional HydroX material or a clear PVC window, allowing the user to extend the depth of the Bivvy from the standard position to the front peak. The included inner capsule and front peak vapour shield simply attaches (and stays fitted) to the inside of the shelter, offering a lightweight solution which enhances airflow and reduces condensation. An external peak groundsheet and an extra tension bar complete the new additions to the improved shelter range.
All XF2 v2 bivvies are compatible with both the optional Porch Extension v2 and Extended Groundsheet v2 to further increase the footprint, offer even greater sheltered protection and create an ideal social setting, perfect for cooking, entertaining or even as a cosy, remote workspace.
Many finer details have been considered, such as the customisable 360° ventilation (easily adjustable from both inside and outside), heavy duty YKK zips, reinforced pegging points, magnetic rod straps, internal receiver pockets, tension bars, heavy-duty ‘T’ pegs, guy ropes and a host of other details have been carefully crafted to provide an unrivalled outdoor living experience. Such convenience is not at the expense of protection though, with the Escape XF bivvy range boasting UV50+ ultraviolet protection and CPAI-84 flame resistant fabric as standard throughout, making it the ultimate option for customisable bankside luxury.
XF2 Compact v2
Designed as a comfortable yet cosy 2-man bivvy capable of fitting in two standard sized bedchairs, the XF2 Compact v2 features the same sturdy X-frame construction, sewn-in groundsheet and windproof/ waterproof/ breathable 300D ripstop HydroX skin (now also available in a Camo finish) as its predecessor. However, the inclusion of a (removable) inner capsule, front peak vapour shield and groundsheet and a multi-configuration front door (including both a standard version or a clear PVC option), which are now split into two separate carry bags, elevate this shelter to the next level of customisable bankside luxury with enhanced ventilation, reduced condensation and optimal protection from the elements. Compatible with both the XF2 Porch Extension v2* and the XF2 Extended Groundsheet v2*, this shelter can be transformed into the ultimate social hub, cook tent or remote workspace.
