With its large-diameter spool and the Slow Oscillation System, Okuma’s ultra-durable 8K spinning reel delivers incredible casting distance while ensuring a peerlessly smooth operation. Built for bulletproof endurance, the 8K’s large bail arm and spool are both made from solid aluminum. The reel’s fast progressive drag system boasts 18 kg of stopping power, making it the ideal companion for targeting big fish on big waters. For maximum anti-corrosion endurance, the 8K’s Hydro Block technology seals the reel’s drag system in a water-tight enclosure ,while the Cyclonic Flow Rotor Technology ushers all excess moisture out of the reel’s housing with a cyclone-like airflow. The 8K is finished with a tasteful black design and a weighted wooden handle knob that rests in a vertical position – always lining up perfectly.
