The blank is a 1k finish that is both very slim and very light and has a very quick tip speed recovery, the recovery helps promote easy long distance casting but without making the blanks overly stiff and sacrificing enjoyment when playing fsh close in.
The 10' 3.5lb is in the range for those anglers not needing the casting capabilities of a 12', these 10' versions will comfortably cxast 80-90 yds and much further in the right hands but for smaller waters, Rivers, tioght swims etc they are great rods. We have also testeds these rods on the likes of Rainbow when using them from a boat, they have the power there for stopping fish from getting to snags etc but have the progressive action to absorb the power of the fish whislt using braid without pulling hooks.
We have hand built these rods in store with an American Tackle black hooded reel seat, all back handle fittings and a 40mm Vortex Air set of guides, whippings are all in black with classy metallic Grey tippings around the handle area.
