These pre-tied KD rigs are a worthy addition to Korda's ready-tied rig range, such is the popularity and effectiveness of this presentation. Korda was at the very heart of the KD-rig revolution a few years back, and the likes of Tom Dove and Ali Hamidi still use it, as well as its variant, the Muzza.
So, with this in mind, Korda wanted to make sure that their ready-tied version was what they considered to be the ultimate KD on the market. After Tom tied and approved what he considered to be the perfect KD rig, Korda had it copied by their rig tiers. You’ll notice that each ready-tied rig has been meticulously produced, to Tom’s exacting specifications. The result is a range of rigs that Tom himself would happily cast out and use with confidence!
The range, which numbers six rigs, is tied with proven Korda components, which include ultra-sharp Korda Kurv Shanks and Korda N-Trap coated braid. The range includes rigs with both barbed and barbless hooks, and in sizes that cover almost all eventualities. The Korda KD range is available in hook sizes 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 and each rig comes with free Extenda stops and standard hair stops.
Each rig is constructed from N Trap 15lb and Kurv hooks. Each Ready-Rig is presented neatly on a dedicated rig board to keep it straight and safe in transit. Therefore, you know the link will be perfectly in tact, with no kinks, when it comes to actually using it.
