The ‘S’ Range specialist and Barbel rods have been around for some time now and still remain very popular. Made from the 36t low resin Japanese carbon that has served so well for the actions needed for species like Tench, Bream, Chub and Barbel and fitted with full cork handles, stainless steel fittings, Clone reel seat with isotope slot and ‘S’-Lite guides.
The Big River Barbel was again developed with the help and advice from Steve Pope. Following the success of the Barbel Seekers he felt we needed an additional rod with more power in the butt to middle to cope with the flows when rivers like the Trent, Wye and Severn are in spate conditions, at around 2.25lb TC it will cope with pretty much anything you need it to.
The Seeker Specialist is 12’ and designed for specimen fishing for Bream, Tench, Chub and smaller Barbel. With a somewhat progressive action that makes it easier to fish weedy waters where harsher rods can lead to hook-pulls or line breakage.

The Korda Kwik Link has been specially designed to aid the angler to change the size of lead on Korda's Running Rig. However it has a multitude of uses and can be used for anything that needs to be attached or removed quickly and easily, such as a marker float.
These clever bits of metalware allow you to change hook links or leads in the blink of an eye.
Danny says: “I now use the Kwik Links for all of my fishing. I attach the link to the swivel that is held inside the inline or lead clip. I then tie an overhand loop in the end of the hook link making sure I tighten the knot fully, especially when I use the Hybrid Stiff material.
“It is actually best to tighten the knot over steam to ensure that it beds down fully. I slide a Tapered Silicone Sleeve onto the hook link before clipping it onto the Kwik Link. I then slide the silicone up over the Kwik Link to stop any chance of the hook link coming free during the cast.
“I can now change hook links within seconds and I don't have to pull the swivel in and out of the lead clip. This prevents any wear and tear and so extends the working life of each clip. The longer the swivel stays in the firmer the grip becomes. This ensures the lead will pull off the clip if it gets snagged during the fight.”
