The Boom material has been at the forefront of our hooklink range for many years but now we’ve developed a similar version for the Basix range.
The Basix Boom is constructed from clear fluorocarbon material and is specifically designed for creating stiff booms, making it perfect for spinner, hinged stiff and combi rig setups. It’s clear fluorocarbon composition ensures extremely low visibility underwater, while offering excellent crimping properties.
However, the primary benefits of using the Basix Boom are its anti-tangle and rig resetting properties. Used correctly, you can pretty much guarantee your rig will always be fishing and optimising your chances of a successful pick up.
By combining high-grade performance with the Basix affordable price point, the Basix Boom offers a cost-effective way of enhancing your carp fishing, while keeping a few more quid in your pocket.
Basix Boom comes in two different breaking strains 25lb 0.55mm (use 0.6 krimp) and 35lb 0.65mm (use 0.7 krimp), with 15m on each spool.
