Korda Kamo Kontour is the ultimate abrasion resistant fluorocarbon leader for when fishing in snaggy situations. This Kontour is extremely tough and durable and therefore is less likely to damage when encountering the likes of weed, mussels, snags and lily pads.
It has a higher density than monofilament and sinks extremely fast, pinning the line down near the rig. The two-tone kamo tint helps it to blend in with almost any lakebed, even once sediment collects on the line.
Due to the thickness of this leader material, it is best used in short-range, margin fishing situations, or when placing rigs using the aid of a boat.
Although this product was developed as a heavy leader, the properties of the fluorocarbon material lends itself perfectly to creating stiff hooklinks, particularly those that require a stiff boom. To crimp this material, use a 0.7mm Large Krimp.
