At the start of writing this foreword to the long awaited English edit of our magazine, we have just learned about the last French stronghold Media Carpe calling it quits... Yet another of the big European names sadly down the drain, foreboding the further demise of print media, and dare we say, the written word. The range of Korda COMPAC Cool Bags has been designed to keep your bait and food as fresh as possible, with a suitable model to cater for all your needs... and now we have added an XLarge version to the range.
Whether you are fishing a day session, quick overnighter, or going fishing for several days and taking a load of bait and food, there is a size of COMPAC Cool Bag which will perfectly meet your needs, as well as looking stylish and being specifically designed for fishing. The outside is made from the same durable and water-resistant fabric used across the
COMPAC range, so they will match the rest of your luggage, plus they have a reinforced
waterproof base.
The inner walls are fully insulated to keep the contents cool or frozen for as long as possible – being able to pick a size of Cool Bag that leaves as little empty space inside as you can helps to keep the contents colder for longer – and the addition of COMPAC Cool Packs helps with that (two Cool Packs are supplied with each medium or large Cool Bag, or four Cool Packs with the X-Large model, and there are internal straps to hold them securely in place).
The large and X-Large model also features three external pockets, which can be used to store cookware such as frying pans, cutlery, plates and the like.
*Korda COMPAC Cool Packs are designed to be frozen for 24 hours prior to your session and will then keep the contents of your COMPAC Cool Bag, or COMPAC Cooler, cold for as long as possible.
