Designed to be used with a Ronnie or spinner rig incorporating either an ESP Quick Change D- sleeve, or shrink tube. The swivel provides 360 degree rotation on the metal ring for excellent hooking potential, and these booms are available with either 0.3g or 0.6g tungsten balance beads incorporated. This allows the angler to tailer the booms to a variety of hook and pop-up sizes.
Incorporating a size 11 uni-link swivel, these booms are designed to create the deadly effective stiff hinged rig, by tying or crimping the hook section to the swivel. The swivel provides smooth 360 degree rotation for excellent rig mechanics and hooking potential.
These booms comprise a super strong mini rig ring at the business end and are designed to complement the ready tied Combi Loop rigs which are available separately. The combination of these two products creates the perfect combi or ‘flipper’ rig which is a highly effective presentation, especially for bottom baits and wafters.

JAG have a long list of industry firsts, all of them designed, developed & manufactured by our own team of precision engineers. For many years we have been asked to produce a lightweight bivvy peg that can withstand the hardest of grounds. Our first model (2024) exceeded all expectations in performance & popularity; as a result, they totally sold out!
As with all of our products, we are continuously looking for ways to improve performance & reduce weight/bulk, we just couldn’t resist a few minor tweaks before machining this latest batch of pegs. The Xcavator Pegs (05/25) now feature an updated collar, hardened black points & a removable carbon Tommy Bar.
These pegs have been in development for over three years with a focus on being HARD GROUND specialists whilst weighing a fraction of the average ‘twisted steel / plastic top’ bivvy peg. Thanks to the incredible Turbo X point & T Bar these pegs effortlessly screw into the hardest of banks.

Please note: Due to their lightweight nature you should never use a mallet or stamp on these pegs, they have been designed to screw into the ground by hand only.
The Point: As featured on our SC Distance sticks, these pegs are using our totally unique, four start, high helix point. When fully engaged, for every turn you will achieve 14mm in the hardest of grounds. Machined from High Grade 316 Stainless & hardened black!
