At the start of writing this foreword to the long awaited English edit of our magazine, we have just learned about the last French stronghold Media Carpe calling it quits... Yet another of the big European names sadly down the drain, foreboding the further demise of print media, and dare we say, the written word. It is still an animal of a rod and its not a rod we would recommend for the majority of people but if you are a good caster you should be able to hit some monster ranges, if you want a rod for extreme range big bag work or method ball work then this blank will do everything you need it to. It doesnt have a test curve but we would put it at 5.5 - 6lb, not for the faint hearted but with a 5-6 lead, a good casting technique and fast hand speed then the sky is the limit.
It will obviously also work as an extreme range spod rod.
