At the start of writing this foreword to the long awaited English edit of our magazine, we have just learned about the last French stronghold Media Carpe calling it quits... Yet another of the big European names sadly down the drain, foreboding the further demise of print media, and dare we say, the written word. Who could have thought that when we came up with the idea for Monkey Climber..

Guru Punch Box
This is the latest must have item for the modern match and pleasure angler from the guys at Guru!!
Supplied as a pack of four punches and the Punch Box, they can be used for a variety of baits, but are mainly designed for meat and bread. The four punches are from 6mm to 12mm in diameter and fit neatly into the Punch Box. The tinted lid of punch box slides shut to keep the moisture in and the bread from drying out, vital as every punch expert knows! It also protects your bait from rain when closed, and slides effortlessly open to give quick and easy access when required.
Offering an integrated bait storage and protection system with four sizes of Push Punch, it's the perfect solution to the problem of keeping bread and meat baits fresh along with an effective way of punching out hook baits.
The lid is also tinted to protect baits like meat and bread from drying out in the sun, and rubber feet on the base prevent the punch box slipping on the side tray. The robust design is slim enough to fit easily inside carryalls or seat boxes without taking up much room.
The Push Punches have also been custom designed for the Punch Box with a plunger system to release bait with minimal effort – it can easily cut out and dispense multiple disks of bread or meat without any damage to the bait, for example.
The razor sharp cutting edge makes fast work of even harder baits such as boilies or pepperami and the stainless steel won't rust or warp under pressure.
