The Gardner Deluxe sunglasses feature a lightweight yet durable Megnalium frame that feature sprung arms, these new glasses look great and are extremely comfortable.
The UV400 rated TAC polarised lenses offer protection against potentially harmful UVA and UVB light (the 400 refers to the light wavelengths shorter than 400 nanometres in length), which means that almost all of the sun’s harmful radiation is blocked from entering your eyes.
This UV protection is aided by the frames wrap around design that reduces unfiltered light from entering the eyes from the side of the glasses. The lenses on these Deluxe Polarised Sunglasses also feature an anti reflection coating that helps improve light transmission, essentially helping you to see fine detail better. They also feature an anti scratch coating to help keep the lenses in prime condition for longer.
How do polarised lens work and why would these sunglasses help in your fishing?
When light hits the surface of the water it is reflected off the surface as ‘glare’ and travels into your eye as a horizontal wave. Polarised lenses only allow vertical light to come through and this means that the glare is filtered out enabling you to see with far greater definition and enhanced clarity which means that you can see what’s going on under the surface.
Careful observation (water-craft) and a good pair of polarised glasses will help you to catch more, as they offer you the opportunity to watch fish, see subsurface weed beds and identify specific feeding spots on the lake bed in clear water a lot more easily.
