Gardner Invisi-Link is an amazingly versatile 100% PVDF Fluorocarbon hooklink and boom material that’s fast sinking, extremely strong and importantly, virtually invisible under water.
This material is ideally suited for a multitude of rig applications such as boom sections on Hinged Stiff and Ronnie pop up rigs, combi-rigs and all ‘D’ rigs. Can be used with either conventional knots or crimps.
It is a ‘clear’ Fluorocarbon, which essentially means that it will blend in with any lake bed. So whether you’re fishing in light weed, silt or over sand and gravel the link will lay out inconspicuously and remain virtually invisible, making this product a great choice whichever venue you choose to fish.
Invisi–Link has been manufactured to specifically balance the rigidity required to kick a balanced hook bait out, whilst retaining the suppleness that ensures the rig still works to its greatest potential, reacting quickly and taking a firm hold.
Gardner Tackle always recommend that you steam all rigs tied with monofilament and skinned hooklink materials straight, and this advice is also true for Invisi-Link fluorocarbon. Steaming hooklinks straight like this resets the memory of the hooklink material and this helps to ensure that the rig lays out nicely giving more consistent presentation and reducing the incidence of tangles occurring on the cast.
