Introducing the New Tel'E'-Class Carp Rods
A compact telescopic-butt rod range designed to deliver genuine E-Class performance in a much shorter transport length.
Short transport length has obvious advantages, but it only becomes genuinely useful when the rod still behaves like a proper carp rod once it is assembled. That is exactly what Tel'E'-Class is designed to achieve. Built from the same high-quality Japanese carbons as the main E-Class carp rods, these models are made to deliver the same slim, crisp, fast-recovering blank character anglers expect from the range, while offering a far more compact pack-down for transport, travel and storage.
The key to the design is a telescopic butt section combined with a shorter top section, creating a rod that extends to either 10ft or 6ft depending on the model, yet breaks down to a much shorter closed length than a conventional two piece rod. The result is a range that is exceptionally easy to carry and store, ideal when space is limited, when rods need to travel discreetly in a vehicle, or when compactness makes life simpler on mobile sessions. Importantly, this added convenience does not come at the expense of action, balance or fish playing performance.
The blanks remain progressive under load, crisp in recovery and reassuringly responsive in the hand. Like the wider E-Class family, the Tel'E'-Class range uses high-quality Japanese carbons to keep diameters slim and actions clean. Low-diameter tips help the blank compress smoothly with minimal effort, which makes them forgiving to cast and easy to use accurately at short to medium range. Each rod also carries the distinctive 45 degree 1K weave finish with isotope slot, giving the range a clear visual link to the E-Class family while adding a smart, modern technical look.

At the top end, the 10ft 4.50lb model is a powerful specialist tool, particularly well suited to heavier work such as catfish fishing, travel duties where versatility matters, or use as a compact spod rod. Then there is the 6ft 3.25lb, a true close-quarters rod built for stalking, hit-and-hold work, and the tightest, most awkward swims where a conventional rod length becomes a disadvantage. Packed down, this model closes to just 30in / 765mm, making it small enough to fit into most suitcases for holiday travel and opportunistic fishing.
Finished to match the Tel'E'-Class identity, every model features a matching carbon Clone reel seat, full Olive Green EVA handle, Olive Green main whippings, black Acetal fittings, a logo butt cap and RS ceramic lined guides.
