Fox Sliders, Khaki/Camo colour sliders.
After the success of the green OG heads Geert made for us, we thought a dinky little lightweight head would be a great addition to the range...
Old skool fluoro bobbins, made by Belgian legend and big carp angler Geert Ooms, in a classic 90's style and a nod to the original Solar fluoro bobbins and indicators that we grew up using.
We still get sent shots of you wearing our original 2014 hoods, ten years on, they've been one of our most loved garments since day 1 and have been worn 'til the bitter end. We only ever did a couple of runs of these and we have been asked to bring them back time and time again.
This handy Fox wind shield features a lightweight aluminium construction and is made up of 7 hinged panels allowing you to provide your stove with essential protection from the wind. By shielding the stove from the wind, your stove will be more efficient and will use less fuel.

Free Spirit have used their Ultra Low Resin Carbon in 40t & 46t aerospace-grade with 1k woven butt section for the Carp Feeders to ensure the blanks are extremely light yet strong. This same material has been used to produce hollow carbon push in quiver tips which eliminate any ‘dead’ spot in the action caused by the transition from the usual solid carbon or glass tip to the hollow section of the rod. This also allows more feel through the blank and into the hand. The rod will bend progressively from the end of the tip through the joint with a subtle build-up of power giving control when needed but still allowing light lines and hook links to be used.
The blank has the Free Spirit ‘Perdurable’ finish meaning there is no paint or lacquer just the carbon itself and will look good through many years of service. Free Spirit have used the same Fuji reel seat on the feeders as a feature on the Waggler range to allow more feel through the blank from the hollow tip and the rest of the fittings complement this perfectly. Anti-frap guides are fitted since the design is less prone to the reel line or shock leader catching the butt guide or any intermediate and causing a crack-off. Handle lengths have been set to allow easy change of direction when playing hard fighting carp.
The Free Spirit Carp Feeders are available in lengths from 9’ for the small commercials, through 10’ and 11’ and a heavier 12’ ‘S’ (stepped-up) version for use on the larger reservoirs.
The above can have custom-built handles to suit. Blank and Rod weights can vary slightly – these are for guidelines only.
