The Hi-S Ive ER was introduced this year to bridge the gap between the Hi-s 3.5lb and the 12' Hi-s Ive which a lot of people found a little too powerful and as a consequence couldnt get the best from.
The new ER takes much of its action form the 13' Ive which has phenominal casting capability but also retains a nice action for playing fish on. We believe this to be probably the best blank ever produced if you do a lot of distance work but also want a rod you can use for the majority of fishing.
