Our aim with the Helical Power Feeder Special was to produce a rod capable of fishing long ranges with hybrid feeders for carp but also suitable for long range fishing for bream and skimmers with cage or rocket feeders. During testing we achieved casts well in excess of 100m, so these rods are more than capable for the likes of Boddington or Southfield or for the Irish lochs.

Free Spirit Helical Power Feeder Special 12ft
Our aim with the Helical Power Feeder Special was to produce a rod capable of fishing long ranges with hybrid feeders or bomb and bag work for carp, while remaining equally effective for long-range bream and skimmer fishing using cage or rocket feeders. During testing, casts well over 100 metres were achieved – making this rod ideal for large venues such as Boddington, Southfield, or Irish lochs.
Inadvertently, we found the rod to be an extremely capable river rod when targeting Barbel and Chub, making it a true all-rounder.
Long-Range Power with Pinpoint Accuracy
Designed to dominate big waters, the Helical Power Feeder Special 12’ delivers serious casting performance without compromising on balance or action. The two-piece configuration enhances responsiveness, enabling smooth compression through the blank for extra distance and improved control over feeders or bombs.
Each rod is equipped with three carbon quiver tips rated 2oz, 3oz, and 4oz. These tips have enlarged intermediate and tip rings to reduce resistance from shock leader knots, further aiding long-distance accuracy and reducing the risk of line damage.
Built for Specimen Carp and River Giants
Thanks to its robust construction and high-modulus Korean carbon blank, this rod isn’t just for commercial work. It has also proven itself on natural venues and flowing rivers, where control, power, and casting precision are vital. The Helical Power Feeder Special is ideal for anglers targeting big bream, tench, or powerful river fish.
