Designed to be used with a Ronnie or spinner rig incorporating either an ESP Quick Change D- sleeve, or shrink tube. The swivel provides 360 degree rotation on the metal ring for excellent hooking potential, and these booms are available with either 0.3g or 0.6g tungsten balance beads incorporated. This allows the angler to tailer the booms to a variety of hook and pop-up sizes.
Incorporating a size 11 uni-link swivel, these booms are designed to create the deadly effective stiff hinged rig, by tying or crimping the hook section to the swivel. The swivel provides smooth 360 degree rotation for excellent rig mechanics and hooking potential.
These booms comprise a super strong mini rig ring at the business end and are designed to complement the ready tied Combi Loop rigs which are available separately. The combination of these two products creates the perfect combi or ‘flipper’ rig which is a highly effective presentation, especially for bottom baits and wafters.

Complimenting the Helical range of carp rods, we have three models of SPM. These are designed to be used as both Spod and Marker rods and are made to the same exacting standards with the same carbons as the carp rods, a combination of Hankook and Toray. This gives plenty of backbone to the lower part of the rod whilst keeping the tip responsive, necessary to cast accurately. Rod weights are also reduced by using quality higher modulus carbons in both butt and tip section thus making long bouts of spodding less tiring.
Available in 12’ to suit most carp anglers but we have also added 10’ and 11’ models for those using shorter carp rods or fishing close ranges, and also more accurate over shorter ranges or when restricted by bankside cover.
The 10’ and 11’ foot rods feature a DPS18 reel seat and are rung 40mm butt guide to 12mm anti-frap tip guide whilst the 12’ features a DNPS20 style seat to suit larger spod reels and has 50mm to 16 anti-frap tip guide. Finished with EVA/shrink butt grip and black fittings.
