The Helical SPM Bait-Up rods are engineered for anglers who need to introduce large amounts of bait quickly, accurately, and at range. Designed for use with Bait Up Feeders up to well over 100g payload and suitable for Spods and bait droppers, they mirror the performance and build quality of the Helical feeder range while offering the power needed for long-distance feeding and the responsiveness required for precise bait placement.
Available in 10ft and 11ft, these rods cater to everything from close-range commercial baiting to long-range work on larger venues. Whether laying down a bed of bait for carp, preparing a bream line on big waters or using a bait dropper on the river, the Helical SPM rods provide the backbone, control, and comfort needed for repeated casting throughout a session.
The Helical SPM Bait-Up rods are a great complement to the Helical range of feeder rods. Constructed using a blend of Hankook and Toray carbons, they offer exceptional backbone in the lower section while retaining the responsive tip action needed for accuracy with heavy payloads.
This premium carbon mix also reduces overall rod weight, making long periods of baiting up work far less tiring. The rods recover quickly, cast smoothly, and maintain excellent accuracy, whether baiting tight to features or hitting longer-range marks.
