Ultra-Fine Presentation with Responsive Strike Control
The Hi-‘S’ Wagglite 9’ is a refined float rod designed for delicate presentations, smaller floats, and quick-strike accuracy. Tailored for modern commercial venues, it’s the ideal tool when targeting smaller species like F1s, ide or silverfish, especially when conditions rule out the pole and demand a more subtle, accurate approach.
Built using the same high-performance carbons as the rest of the Carp Waggler range, this model features a finer tip section for casting lighter wagglers and responding swiftly to shy, finicky bites. It’s perfect for close-range fishing on snake lakes or tighter pegs where space is limited and finesse is key.
The rod remains lightweight and well-balanced in hand, delivering a fast recovery for accurate float control and smooth striking. It’s available in both full cork and abbreviated handle builds to suit your personal preference.
Light, Responsive and Purpose-Built
The Hi-‘S’ Wagglite is crafted from Ultra Low Resin Carbon in 40t and 46t aerospace-grade fibres. While sharing core materials with the Carp Waggler range, it’s tuned for light float work and high-speed bite response. The rod’s softer tip section and crisp recovery make it perfect for short underarm flicks and margin casting with precision.
Fitted with a Fuji TVS16 reel seat and HL match guides, the setup ensures line control is smooth and reliable, reducing the chance of tangles or casting friction. This rod excels when the going gets tough – offering superb feel, fast reaction, and finesse presentation without sacrificing reliability.
