Free Spirit Hi S Carp Waggler Rod Cork Handle
For anglers who demand finesse without compromising strength, the Hi-‘S’ Carp Waggler Rods deliver exceptional performance in every session. Whether you’re flicking a small float on a tight peg or launching a pellet waggler across a big open water, these rods give you the control and accuracy needed to make every cast count.
Designed specifically for modern commercial carp fishing, the Hi-‘S’ Carp Waggler range offers the perfect balance of responsiveness, lightness and playing power. The progressive action cushions hook pulls while allowing for fine lines and delicate hooklengths, giving you the confidence to fish lighter and still handle powerful fish with ease.
As with every rod in the Hi-‘S’ range, this is a model built to perform and last, using only the finest materials and design features that help serious anglers get the best from their gear.
Light, Accurate and Built to Last
The Hi-‘S’ Carp Waggler is constructed from Ultra Low Resin Carbon in 40t and 46t aerospace-grade fibres, with 1k weave on the butt and lower part of the tip section for added strength and the exposed main carbon on the upper tip for enhanced sensitivity. This gives the rod a light but robust feel, with a smooth, progressive action that builds power evenly from tip to butt. It’s just as capable with delicate floats as it is with heavier splashers or pellet wagglers.
The blank features our signature ‘Perdurable’ finish – raw carbon with no paint or lacquer – offering long-lasting durability and a sleek, high-performance look. Fitted with a new Fuji TVSM16 open-reel seat, the rod maximises sensitivity and feedback through the blank, helping you stay in tune with every movement beneath the surface.
Handle lengths are optimised to help anglers turn and guide fish confidently, even in tight margins. The Kigan HL Hi-Stand Off match guides include a size 16 starting guide, making the rod ideal for heavier lines and reducing the chance of crack-offs. Every element is chosen to enhance balance, comfort and performance on the bank.
