When using tubing to pin down mainline or to protect the flanks of fish its essential that the tubing does not travel up the line during the fight otherwise your mainline could lift scales causing damage to the fish. The Tubing Lead Clip ensures the tubing can’t slide up the line. It features a side window that allows access inside to thread on a locking funnel (witches hat) to the mainline that’s pushed into the tubing. When this window is replaced the peg feature locks the swivel and the tubing in place preventing the tubing from slipping loose out of the clip. The precise fitting tail rubber allows the lead to pull off the clip in the event of it becoming snagged but unlike with other clips the tubing will not get dragged up with it.
