At the start of writing this foreword to the long awaited English edit of our magazine, we have just learned about the last French stronghold Media Carpe calling it quits... Yet another of the big European names sadly down the drain, foreboding the further demise of print media, and dare we say, the written word. Who could have thought that when we came up with the idea for Monkey Climber..

Aside from looking the part these Snag Ears also have a very practical use in that they prevent your rod from coming off of your bite alarm when fishing 'locked up'. They have been designed to work with most bite alarms (especially our N and M series of Microns!) and have a rubber over mould on the top half to protect the blank of your rod when it comes into contact with it.
• Ears can be unscrewed to protect them in transit or when they are not needed
