They are easy to use and reduce splits and breakages when baiting up. The ESP Ultra-fine 1mm diameter drill produces smaller, neater holes.
The matching 1mm diameter ESP needle has low profile barb with no sharp edges to fray or damage braid. Increased diameter towards base of needle is also useful for opening up the hair loop.
