Daiwa Crosscast X Traditional Spod Rod 12' 5lb

The heavy duty Spod edition in the Daiwa Crosscast Traditional Carp Rod range. A series of rods from Daiwa designed to capture the look and performance a lot of angler feel is missed in modern carp rods. Despite the traditional name, they are built with top quality high modulus carbon fibre blanks fitted with premium Seaguide rings and reel seats. Finished off with an all important full cork handle. Carrying a stepped up 5.00lb test curve, these are ideal for punching out the largest heaviest spods.

These also double up as a great Catfish rod.


Seaguide TDG guides are lighter in weight than the traditional ceramic guides with enhanced performance. The guides have a larger internal diameter size for size with ceramic guides which means line can travel faster through them when casting. The guides also offer greater sensitivity and feel plus they have a special adaman coating which also increases the performance.

Seaguide reel seat offers a very reliable and good platform for any carp rod
