These rods benefit from Century knowledge and experience to produce a carp rod with the highest production efficiency and best value to performance carbon materials to deliver a rod that will lead other rods on the market at these price points.
There are four test curves to choose from.
10’ 3.50lb - might be your preferred choice on small waters with tight swims or to make stalking, travel and mobility easy.
12’ 3.25lb – traditional 12’ length for use on small and medium size waters when you want to focus on fishing playing action in preference to casting longer distances.
12’ 3.50lb – offering extra casting distance and power to fish at longer ranges than the 3.25lb and better suited if using small PVA bags or 3.5oz and 4oz leads.
13’ 3.50lb – the same characteristics as the 12’ 3.50lb but when even longer distances on bigger venues are needed or you have a casting style or angling setup preference that suits longer 13’ rods.
The rod builds feature a 1k carbon surface weave throughout butt and base of tip, Century engraved Black Alumnium butt cap, full shrink rubber handle, lightweight Graphite DPS size 18 reelseat with Black hoods, matt silver grey Excalibur XT logo on the top of the blank and Union Jack flag on underside of blank. The Black Steel frame guides feature a SiC liner and are size 40-12 guides on the 10’ rods and size 50-16 on the 12’ and 13’ rods.
