Built using the same 40t Low Resin Carbon as the Hi-'S' Carp rods there has been no compromise with this Marker rod and the rod will not appreciably soften even with heavy use. The benefit of the ultra-high modulus carbon is the transmission of the slightest tremors caused by variations in the bottom down the blank and the stiffer tip drastically reduces the bumping effect which bounces the lead along the bottom as opposed to dragging it across every contour.
Available in 12’ or 13’ with either 40mm or 50mm ringing

The 12’ Hi-‘S’ Marker Rod is suitable for the majority of anglers being capable of casting in excess of 100yards with leads up to 3½oz.
Available with either 40mm or 50mm ringing.
Hi-‘S’ Marker Rods 13’ 3.75lb
The 13’ Hi-‘S’ Marker Rod is suited to people who want to explore at extreme ranges with leads up to and exceeding 4oz.
Available with either 50mm or 40mm ringing.

The Johnson Ross / Free Spirit Hi S Spod Distance Specials are built with standard handle set to 520mm to rear of reel seat and 50mm ringing set for distance. All technical specification is same as standard finished rods.
