Carriage Rates UK :
Royal Mail First Class:
In theory Royal Mail First Class deliveries should reach you in no more than 48 hours, however this is not guaranteed and the Royal Mail state that you have to allow a minimum of 10 working days before they class it as missing.
Small packets (Jiffy Bags) weighing upto 500gms and with a value of upto £40 will be between £1.95 and £2.50
Small parcels weighing between 500gms and 999gms will be between £4.25
ALL ORDERS WITH A VALUE OF OVER £40 HAVE TO BE DELIVERED BY FEDEX AS THEY ARE THEN INSURED AGAINST LOSS/DAMAGE
Some parcels containing Throwing sticks for example may have to go with FedEx due to the size of the parcel, even though they may be quite a lightweight parcel. Once a parcel goes over 1.5kg it is cheaper for us to send it with FedEx at the rates below.
FedEx
We use a premuim service with FedEx, which currently runs at 97% success rate on next day, on very rare occasions it will be 48hrs. Big parcels which are classed as oversize, i.e bivvies, rods, beds etc are more likely to take upto 48Hrs
Free Shipping on orders over £100 (UK Mainland customers only - Some exclusions apply)
Express Packs : this is for items that weigh upto 5kg and will fit in one of their express bags which includes bait, terminal tackle, books, dvd's, smaller items of clothing and luggage etc. This service costs £5
Large Express Pack: This will take larger items upto a maximum of 5kg in weight, maximum size products are things like 5kg bait, small rucksacks, medium carryalls etc.
Parcels: This is for any package weighing upto 20kg : £8.00
Carriage Rates International :
Once you have created an account the shipping will automatically show up in your cart, prices vary depending on the destination country and the size, weight and shape of the parcel.
The website cannot calculate the shipping on some larger orders to come countries, if this is the case the site will not show the shipping cost, when you get to the checkout stage it will ask you to click a link to get a shipping quote, we will then get back to you with a price.
We are now unable to ship orders outside the UK with the Royal mail, rates to countries like the USA, Israel, Ausdtralia, Kazakhstan etc have become too expensive and since Brexit the paperwork involved regarding the collection of overseas VAT has made it impossible for us to offer it. We continue to use Fedex that have an excellent service for our international deliveries.
BREXIT Changes:
Due to the new Brexit rules it means we can no longer ship any bait products at all to any EU member countries. The change in rules also means that due to VAT accounting procedures we can no longer use the Royal Mail for international deliveries.
USA & Canada:
We cannot ship any bait products at all to the US or Canada.
Due to price changes imposed by the Royal Mail we can no longer use them for deliveries to the US/Canada, as an example a parcel that would have cost £9.00 to send in December now costs over £20. It is now cheaper for Fedex to de;liver small parcels.
